Article 1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all agreements concerning online orders between Bumkins and the customer. Bumkins reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, provided that customers are notified of significant changes in advance. If you do not agree with the changes, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of being informed of the change. The latest version of the terms and conditions is always available on this page. By placing an order on our website, the customer accepts these terms and conditions without reservation.

Article 2. Prices and Offers

• Prices are listed in euros and include VAT.
• Shipping costs are not included in the item prices and will be calculated at checkout. These costs include packing, shipping, and handling.
• For deliveries outside the Netherlands, shipping costs will be charged to the buyer regardless of the order size.
• Bumkins may adjust prices and other conditions before the sale is concluded. Once an order is placed, the price at the time of order will apply.
• Offers are valid while supplies last and for the specified duration.
• Offers do not automatically apply to repeat orders.
• Discounts on promotions only apply if payment is received within 5 business days of the promotion's end. After this period, the promotional discount expires.
• Promotional codes must be entered before checkout. No discounts will be applied after the order is placed.
• Promotional codes are valid only for the specified products in the promotion and cannot be applied to other items.
• When returning a promotional product, the promotional discount will expire, and any unreturned (free) items will be charged at the normal selling price.
• Bumkins is not liable for the consequences of misprints, typographical errors, or programming errors on its website. Incorrect price information is not legally binding.
• Information, images, and other details related to offers and product characteristics are provided as accurately as possible. Any changes do not qualify for compensation and/or cancellation of the agreement.

Article 3. Payment

• Payment can be made using one of the methods indicated during the checkout process. Payment and order conditions apply as specified at the time of order.
• Orders will be shipped once payment is received in full.
• If payment is not received within 5 working days from placing the order, the order will be cancelled.
• Certain payment methods may incur a transaction fee, which will be clearly stated at checkout.

Article 4. Delivery

• We deliver items using leading delivery companies, subject to availability. Items are shipped upon receipt of payment, typically within 2 business days.
• Shipping costs (if any) are clearly stated in the order confirmation.
• Upon delivery, please verify that the items received match your order confirmation and that the products are complete and undamaged.
• Delivery will take place at the address provided by the customer during checkout. Please ensure the address is correct, as Bumkins is not responsible for delivery errors due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
• Bumkins is responsible for the goods until they are delivered to the customer. If delivery errors occur due to the delivery company, Bumkins will work with the customer to resolve the issue.
• Special conditions may apply to deliveries abroad.
• If the outer delivery time of 30 days is exceeded, the customer is entitled to cancel the order. Any delays will be communicated promptly, and if the customer cancels the order, the purchase price will be refunded within 14 days.
• If an ordered product is temporarily out of stock, the customer will be notified of its availability. Delays will be communicated via email.

Article 5. Refusal of Orders

A sales agreement is only established after acceptance of the order by Bumkins. Bumkins reserves the right to refuse orders or to impose special conditions on delivery unless otherwise agreed. If an order is not accepted, Bumkins will notify the customer within 10 days of receiving the order.

Article 6. Retention of Title

Bumkins retains ownership of delivered goods until the purchase price has been fully paid. The risk concerning the products transfers to the customer when the products are delivered to the address provided. If the customer fails to take delivery of the products, any resulting damages and costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Article 7. Cooling-Off Period

All items purchased from www.bumkins.eu can be returned without reason within 14 days of receipt. To cancel/return an order, the customer must notify Bumkins in writing via email to info@bumkins.eu. The customer must then return the product immediately. The cost of returning products is borne by the customer.

Returns are only accepted if the products are in their original, undamaged packaging and condition, unworn/unused, unwashed, and with original tags, labels, and instructions intact. Bumkins reserves the right to refuse returns or to issue partial refunds if the product shows signs of use or damage.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned items.

Article 8. Exchange / Return

Returns and exchanges are possible within 14 days of receipt of the order, subject to the following conditions:

• Returns must be notified by email and returned within 14 days of receipt.
• The product must be in its original condition, with tags, labels, and packaging intact.
• Items on sale with a discount of 50% or more cannot be exchanged or returned.
• The customer bears the risk of return shipments. Bumkins is not responsible for insufficiently paid postage.
• Once the return is received in good condition, the refund will be processed within 14 days.
• Payment transaction fees incurred with the order are non-refundable.

To exchange a product, customers must notify Bumkins via email, indicating the item they wish to exchange and the desired replacement. The return shipping cost is the customer’s responsibility, while Bumkins covers the cost of shipping the exchanged product.

Article 9. Complaints

Bumkins is committed to delivering high-quality products. If a product does not meet your expectations, please email info@bumkins.eu within 7 days of receiving the order. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly. Postage for returning a product under complaint is initially borne by the customer but will be credited if the complaint is upheld. Complaints are handled within 30 days of notification.

If the solution does not meet your expectations, you may cancel the entire order within 7 days, and the amount already paid will be refunded, subject to the terms described in Article 7. The warranty is void if the defect results from misuse or failure to follow instructions.

Article 10. Guarantee and Liability

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, statutory warranty provisions under Dutch law apply. This does not affect the statutory rights of consumers under the law of their country of residence.

Article 11. Privacy Policy

Personal data is stored in Bumkins' customer system to process orders and for internal marketing purposes, such as sending newsletters. Bumkins processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data may be shared with third parties only for the purposes of fulfilling the order, as described in Article 4. Customers may request that their personal information be deleted by contacting us at info@bumkins.eu.

Article 12. Miscellaneous

If you provide Bumkins with an address in writing, we are entitled to send all orders to that address unless you notify us of another address in writing. If Bumkins does not enforce a condition at any time, this does not waive our right to enforce it in the future. If any provision of these terms conflicts with applicable law, the conflicting provision will be replaced with a valid one that reflects the original intent.

Article 13. Applicable Law

These terms and conditions, and any disputes arising from them, are governed by Dutch law. However, consumers may have additional rights under the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
